We are Independent, Fundamental, King James only Baptists. We sing with piano only and if you’d like to hear what we sound like in a church service, please visit our YouTube channel. This is an accurate description of our singing style.
The Scriptures
We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to be the verbally inspired Word of God. We believe the Authorized King James Bible is God’s preserved word for English speaking people, and as such, is the sole authority of our faith and practice. (II Timothy 3:16)
The Godhead
We believe in one Triune God, eternally existing in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (II Corinthians 13:14)
The Person of God (Father): We believe that God is supreme in His person, eternal in His being, absolute in His attributes, and glorious in His perfection. God is separate and above the world as its Creator yet everywhere present in the world as the Upholder of all things.
The Person of Jesus Christ (Son): We believe that Jesus Christ became man without ceasing to be God. We believe He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin in order to redeem sinful men. He accomplished our redemption through His finished work and death at Calvary and our justification is made sure by His resurrection from the dead. He ascended to Heaven and now sits at the right hand of the Throne of God where He is our Representative, Intercessor and Advocate.
The Person of the Holy Spirit: We believe that the Holy Spirit reproves the world regarding sin, righteousness, and judgement. He convicts and regenerates sinners; baptizes all believers into the body of Christ; indwells them as the means of assurance, power and wisdom; and seals them unto the day of redemption.
Man
We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God, but that in Adam’s sin the race fell, inherited a sinful nature, and became alienated from God. Furthermore, we believe that man is totally depraved, and, of himself, utterly unable to remedy his lost condition. (Genesis 1:26-27; Romans 3:22-23)
Salvation
Because of man’s lost condition, we believe that God provided the only way to salvation through the death of Jesus Christ and His atonement of our sin. We believe that the clear message of salvation is “repentance toward God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ”, wholly of grace and available for whosoever will. We believe that men are justified by faith alone and are accounted righteous before God only through the merit of His son. (Romans 10:13; Ephesians 2:8-10)
The Security of the Believer
We believe that those who receive Jesus Christ as Savior are eternally secure. Our security rests on the finished work of the shed blood of Jesus Christ for our atonement. (I Peter 1:4-5)
The Church
We believe that the establishment and continuance of local churches is clearly taught and defined in the New Testament. We believe that the local church is a congregation of baptized believers, practicing New Testament principles, believing its doctrine, observing its ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s supper, and exercising its autonomy from any external authority or control. It is the responsibility of the local church to propagate the gospel to the entire world and every Christian should have a part of this ministry. (Acts 2:42-47; I Corinthians 12:12-14)
Biblical Separation
We believe that the saved in Christ should live in such a manner as not to bring reproach upon their Savior and Lord; and, that separation from all religious apostasy, all worldly and sinful pleasures, practices and associations is commanded of God. (Romans 12:1-2; 14:13)
The Return of Christ
We believe the “Blessed Hope” of our Lord’s return is literal, personal, visible, imminent, pre-millennial, and pre-tribulational. He will rapture His Church prior to the seven years of tribulation, and at the end of the tribulation Christ will return with His saints to establish His thousand-year reign on the earth. (I Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 19:11-16, 20:1-6)
Our Eternal State
We believe in the bodily resurrection of all men, the saved to eternal life, and the unsaved to judgment and everlasting punishment. (Matthew 25:46)
We believe that the souls of the redeemed are, at death, absent from the body and present with the Lord, where in conscious bliss they await the first resurrection, when spirit, soul, and body are reunited to be glorified forever with the Lord. (Revelation 20:4-6)
We believe that the souls of unbelievers remain, after death, in conscious state in hell until the soul and body are reunited. Then they shall appear at the Great White Throne Judgment, and shall be cast into the Lake of Fire to suffer everlasting, conscious punishment. (Revelation 20:11-15)
